HOW DOES IT RUN?
In all the years service Jehovah-Shammah always been struggling with inadequate funds and couldn’t provide what we want them to have. But we never let them go hungry. Simple and modest facilities like dormitories malls to sleep on the floor, dining hall.
Modest and simple, in all aspects of our functioning, we make sure that every penny is rightly utilized for the benefit of the children.
But god has been gracious enough to provide everyday needs miraculously.

This home is not supported by any funding agency nor by any of the government agencies. But through our appeals to individuals, corporate houses, and other philanthropists who respond randomly . This inconsistency, inadequate funds has been our years long concern.
Of course, we have the self supporting unit in poultry farm which provides 30-35% of the total budget.
Our yearly budget – 1,300,000.00 rupees . (Including food+ clothes+ Education+ health+ Simple daily needs like soaps, toothpastes etc)

FUNDS
It is never an easy task to maintain over 250 children for as long as nearly 3 decades (30 Years) with inadequate resources and meager funds.

In the initial phase. World vision, funded and later when they could not continue, Azariahs with a sole mission of helping these children , put their all personal assets into childrens home and appealed to aseveral personal friends, churches, organizations to rescue this magnanimous service. Few responded but the crisis was continuing until an organization called Wooden daad from Netherlands stepped in miraculously and has seen been a great help ever since.
They not only shared the burden of the budgets but also helped establishing a self supporting poultry farm.

Eevery thing looked steady for the first time in the history of JSC Home with just adequate resources until cruel storms in 1998 and 199 effected the poultry farm and wiped out entire stock and shipment of eggs. Also by which time the said organization reduced funding as poultry began to be self supporting.

This children home has a poultry farm as a self supporting unit. It has 30000 layers and the profits from this unit will contribute up to 40-45 % of the budget.
The other balance is gathered from individual sources to whom we appeal by post which sometimes realized.

J.S has been catering to the needs of so many hundreds of these underprivileged children nearly for the last three decades. Since 1972, JS has brightened many gloomy lives and taken to safer shores. Today the very life which could have been misery…
